Richard Clapton To Mark 40th Anniversary With 6th Annual State Theatre Show

Richard Clapton will return to Sydney’s State Theatre in November for his sixth annual concert this year titled ‘The Best Years Of Our Lives’.

Clapton’s return to the State Theatre will celebrate the 40th anniversary of his debut album ‘Prussian Blue’ in 1973.

‘The Best Years Of Our Lives’ will be a greatest hits show featuring a setlist of songs that have become a soundtrack to Australia like I Am An Island, The Best Years of Our Lives, Capricorn Dancer, Girls on the Avenue, Glory Road, Goodbye Tiger, Trust Somebody, Get Back to the Shelter, Down in the Lucky Country.

Claptn started the State Theatre shows in 2008 originally to mark his 35th anniversary.

Richard Clapton, 40th Anniversary, The Best Years Of Our Lives show for Empire Touring will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the State Theatre, Sydney.
