Russell Morris has been announced as an Ambassador for Record Store Day Australia 2019.

The rock legend who has already surpassed 50 years in the biz is about to release ‘Black and Blue Heart’, his first rock album in more than a decade. The album comes after Russell’s most successful album run to date, his Ghosts and Legends blues trilogy ‘Sharkmouth’, ‘Van Diemen’s Land’ and ‘Red Dirt Red Heart’.

Russell joins the previously announced 2019 Ambassadors Kate Ceberano, Dave Faulkner and Hockey Dad.

Record Store Day 2019 is Saturday 13 April.
