Enuff Z’Nuff frontman and bassist Chip Z’Nuff joins Paul Cashmere at Noise11 to talk about the band’s long-awaited return to Australia for the November 2026 tour with Pretty Boy Floyd.

In this Noise11 interview, Chip reflects on Enuff Z’Nuff’s early days playing tiny Sunset Strip clubs before MTV exploded the band worldwide with ‘New Thing’, taking them onto stages alongside Skid Row, Bon Jovi and Whitesnake. He also discusses the challenges the band faced during the rise of grunge, explaining why Enuff Z’Nuff never stopped touring or making records despite changing trends in rock music.

Chip opens up about the transition from bassist to lead vocalist following Donnie Vie’s departure, revealing how difficult it was to continue the band while still respecting the original chemistry that fans loved. He also talks about the latest album ‘Extra Cherries’, performing songs from across the band’s 20-plus album catalogue, and why every Australian show will feature a different setlist.

The interview also explores Enuff Z’Nuff’s close relationship with Cheap Trick, including collaborations with Daxx Nielsen and Rick Nielsen, and the support the band has received over the years from artists in heavier bands like Megadeth and Lamb of God.

Chip also shares stories from his years living and touring with former Guns N’ Roses drummer Stephen Adler, discussing Adler’s love of Queen, Appetite For Destruction, and life inside the Adler household.

Plus, Chip teases his upcoming memoir, promising untold stories from the glam metal era and beyond.
