Sammy Hagar’s wheel of musical projects will land on The Circle this fall for a series of dates with Collective Soul.

Hagar formed The Circle in 2014 as a band that could take the singer “full circle” in his career, playing music from many of his groups and solo works. Joining him in the group are Michael Anthony, who played with Sammy in Van Halen and Chickenfoot, drummer Jason Bonham and Waboritas guitarist Vic Johnson. Originally a tour only band, they released a live album, At Your Service, in 2015 and are now talking about going into the studio.

Dates start on September 10 in San Bernadino, CA and run through September 30 in Maryland Heights, MO. Collective Soul will participate in eleven of the thirteen dates.

Leo Sayer Shares His Thoughts on The Passing of Sly Stone

There really is a riot going on right now, so what a poignant moment it seems to be to lose a hero I never met, yet a man I often imagined as my soul brother. I worked with many of his alumni (including the man who helped invent him, fellow San Fran disk jockey Tom Donahue), and to say they and he inspired me would be a useless understatement.
