Sisters of Mercy Announce Single Headline Show

by Tim Cashmere on January 10, 2012

in News

Melbourne Goths rejoice, the Sisters of Mercy are playing their only Australian headline show at the Corner Hotel this February!

The band were originally scheduled to play the botched Soundwave Revolution tour of 2011, but when that fell apart they were one of the bands that made the leap to the Soundwave Festival.

All this time Sisters of Mercy fans have been eager to dusts off their leather pants and makeup but worried about attending a festival surrounded by agile, young emos, which is a shame because the great emo-goth showdown of 2012 would have been a spectacular addition to the bill.

Seriously though this Friday, January 13 I will be buying my Sisters of Mercy ticket and I think you should too. The show will take place on Tuesday, 28 February. See you there.
