Slipknot are undoubtedly one of the biggest metal acts to emerge in the last decade, not least due to their breakthough second album Iowa from 2001.

Now, even though they’re headlining the megafest Soundwave, they’re stepping out on their own for two massive shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

Tickets go on sale next Friday 9 December from 10am, through Ticketmaster for the Sydney show and Ticketek for the Melbourne one.

Slipknot Sideshows 2012
Monday 27 February – Entertainment Centre, Sydney
Thursday 1 March – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
