Last night was a big one for Saturday Night Live. Not only did two of their most famous recent alumnus return to the show (Tina Fay & Amy Poehler) but the musical guest was Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band.
Springsteen and the band played earlier in the program, performing Meet Me In the City from the outtakes on The Ties That Bind: The River Collection and The Ties That Bind from the original River release.
He then closed the show with his version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town, joined by Fay, Poehler, Maya Rudolph (who is the daughter of the late-Minnie Ripperton) and surprise guest Paul McCartney.
