Tex Perkins will bring back his classic ‘The Man In Black’ for two shows in Melbourne in November.

The Man in Black is a tribute to Johnny Cash. “I am thrilled to be returning to the Athenaeum Theatre with The Man In Black,” says Tex. “This is where it all began and we have had so many great shows there! I can’t wait to take to the stage with Rachel Tidd and The Tennessee Four.”

The original show earned Perkins a Helpmann Award. What started out as a few shows ended up an 18-month stint. The show won the Helpmann for Best Contemporary Australian Concert.

The Man In Black dates
