The 1975 will tour Australia in January 2016.

The UK band hails from Manchester. The 1975 formed in 2002. Singer Matthew Healy is the son of actors Denise Welch (Coronation Street) and Tim Healy (Benidom).

The 1975 released their debut self-titled album in 2013. It reached no 1 in the UK and no 29 in Australia.
