The Cranberries To Tour With String Quartet

The Cranberries will tour with a whole new format. They are taking a string quartet on tour.

The band, who have been together without lineup changes since 1990 except for 6-year hiatus, includes Dolores O’Riordan, Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler.

For this tour, they will be performing acoustic shows with a string quartet to fill in their toned down sound. An album with acoustic versions of some of the band’s hits and new material is expected later in the year.

Tickets for the tour go on sale between tomorrow and Friday (February 8 to 10). Check with your local venue for dates.
