Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Become Madame Tussaurds Wax Models

Madame Tussauds, the world-renowned wax attraction, opened its latest location in Nashville in April, but they officially revealed their new Tim McGraw and Faith Hill wax figures at Bridgestone Arena August 5th prior to the sold-out Soul2Soul show.

To capture every detail, McGraw and Hill graciously carved out time earlier in the year to undergo a “sitting” with Madame Tussauds studio artists in Nashville. The research team took more than 300 measurements of each singer and McGraw and Hill themselves donated personal items of clothing to ensure an exact likeness.

Faith Hill’s likeness is styled in the same show stopping dress she wore at the 2014 Nashville Symphony Ball, while McGraw’s life-like figure is outfitted with his trademark white washed denim jeans, a grey marl stretch tee completed with a donated Shantung Panama straw cowboy hat – right from Tim’s personal collection.

Both McGraw and Hill’s figures will be on display at Madame Tussauds Nashville, the ‘Home of Country Music’ and are positioned in the interactive “backstage area” of the attraction.

Each Madame Tussauds figure is truly a work of art, involving teams of professional artists and sculptors who spend months on extensive research and take more than 300 measurements to recreate world-famous icons, to achieve the kind of astonishing realism that has been at the heart of the 250-year Madame Tussauds legacy.

With a completely different concept, the attraction in Nashville is the company’s first offering in the U.S. that focuses solely on music icons that have shaped America’s musical landscape. Guests are encouraged to have fun with the famous stars from musical genres such as Country, Rock n Roll, Jazz, Blues and Pop.

Additional figures hitting the stage at Madame Tussauds Nashville include Beyoncé, Billie Holiday, Blake Shelton, Bob Dylan, Carrie Underwood, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, Little Jimmy Dickens, Louis Armstrong, Miley Cyrus, Minnie Pearl, fictitious TV characters Rayna Jaymes & Deacon Claybourne, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder and Taylor Swift. More artists will be added to the bill within the coming weeks.
