Tony Bennett Says Lady Gaga Will Be Remembered Like Elvis Presley

Just 24 hours after Lady Gaga received a Golden Globe nomination for her first ever acting role in “American Horror Story Hotel,” the star was honored today at Billboard’s Women in Music event as the Woman of the Year.

She got a kiss from collaborator Tony Bennett on the carpet, who told us that he believes that Gaga is “A wonderful artist that will sustain through the years. She’ll be as big- as far as I’m concerned- as Elvis Presley was.”

A humbled Gaga laughed and responded, “Oh Tony! Tell Tony to pipe down! I think I’ll settle for a career – period- and the one I have, I’m very happy to have.”
