Vanilla Ice, aka Robert Matthew Van Winkle, has been arrested in Lantana, FL and charged with grand theft and burglary.

According to police, in the course of investigating the burglary of a home that was in foreclosure which occurred sometime between December 2014 and February 2015, they determined that Van Winkle, who was working on renovations on the house next door, was involved in the incident.

Gone from the home were such items as bicycles, furniture, a pool heater and other property. After executing a search warrant, the investigators found some of the items in Van Winkle’s property.

Van Winkle, who had a international hit in 1990 with Ice Ice Baby, has gone on to star in the DIY Network series The Vanilla Ice Project. The home where the items were found is being renovated for the series.
