Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne has announced the release of his first ever comic book ‘The Sun Is Sick’.
Coyne will launch the comic book at Comic-Com 2013 in San Diego this weekend. It will be available from Comic-Com from July 18-21 and then from falminglips.com from July 22.
Coyn’e ‘The Sun Is Shining’ comes with a warning. “This is not suitable for children and depending on what sort of person you are, it may not be suitable for non-children either”.
The adult-themed comic book is 40-pages and described as “a full-colour psychedelic fantasy in a classic comic book form.”
In other Flaming Lips news, Wayne Coyne will also be featured on the track ‘The Perfect Life’ on the new Moby album ‘Innocents’, due in October.
