Wham Salute George Michael With Chris Martin At BRIT Awards

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on February 24, 2017

in News

One of the most emotional points of Wednesday’s BRIT Awards was the tribute to the late George Michael who died unexpectedly on Christmas day.

The section of the show started with Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgeley and dancers Shirley Holliman and Helen DeMacque, who would later record as Pepsi & Shirley, talking of their early years working with Michael.

They were followed by Coldplay’s Chris Martin dueting with Michael on A Different Corner.
