Willie Nelson has been side-lined after forced to cancel his next four shows due to doctor’s orders.

Although there are no details available, an announcement on his website said he had injured his shoulder.

The affected dates from the original announcement on the singer’s website included last night’s show in Carmel, IN (rescheduled for August 23, 2014) and tonight’s in Charlotte, MI (new date TBD). Since that was posted, dates in Springfield, IL and an appearance at a festival hosted by Zac Brown on Saturday in Nashville have been added.

His new album, To All the Girls…, which includes duets with a number of female vocalists, comes out on Tuesday, October 15, which is when his tour is expected to continue with a date in Louisville, KY.

The original announcement from the site:

Today’s show (9/25) in Carmel, IN at The Palladium (The Center For The Performing Arts) has been postponed until 8/23/14. Ticketing options are outlined HERE.

Tomorrows show (9/26) in Charlotte, MI at the Eaton County Fairgrounds has also been postponed, rescheduled date still to be determined.

Please contact the respective venues with any questions regarding tickets. Thank you!
