X Factor Winner Reece Mastin Releases Debut Single

Moments after Reece Mastin was announced as the winner of X Factor 2011 Sony Music released his debut single ‘Good Night’ via iTunes.

16-year old Reece took the title out tonight on Australian television.

Denis Handlin, Sony Music Chairman & CEO said, “Congratulations to everyone at Fremantle Media Australia, Seven Network and to all the contestants that have participated in 2011’s The X Factor for such a fantastic series this year. Reece has proven what a remarkable young man and strong contender he has been to take out the title since day one and I am very pleased that we will be releasing an album of Reece’s incredible journey from the show in time for Christmas.”

Ian Hogg, CEO FremantleMedia Asia Pacific added, “What a year for X Factor. I am not the only person who will keenly watch the rise of Reece onto the world stage. And, who better to help with that than Sony Music under the careful guidance of Denis Handlin and his amazing team.”

Sony will release the album ‘Reece Mastin’ on December 9.
