in News

When Dusty Hill of ZZ Top fell and injured his hip, it caused the band to cancel the balance of their tour with Jeff Beck but it was hoped they would be able to finish out the rest of their 2014 dates.

Those dates have now also been postponed so that Hill can further recuperate.

The band was to resume touring on September 25 with an intense schedule that included 27 dates ending on November 1. A statement from the band said that “Dusty’s well being is paramount.”

The band’s management is trying to reschedule all of the dates for 2015. Ticket holders are advised to hold on to their tickets for now with rescheduled dates expected next week.

The postponed dates from the ZZ Top/Jeff Beck tour have already been announced:

05/08 – W. Palm Beach, FL – Cruzan Amphitheatre
05/09 – Saint Augustine, FL – Saint Augustine Amphitheatre
05/10 – Alpharetta, GA – Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park
The following five dates were not able to be rescheduled and ticket holders should return their tickets for a full refund:

09/26 – West Springfield, MA – The Big E Festival
09/27 – Portland, ME – Maine State Pier
