Vernon Reid, the genre-blurring guitar visionary best known as founder of Living Colour, has unleashed his new solo album Hoodoo Telemetry via Artone/The Players Club Records. The album's final pre-release single In Effigy delivers a thunderous industrial groove exploring the moral duality of war - both the aggressor and the victim's perspectives colliding in sound.

Vernon Reid, the Grammy-winning guitarist best known for his incendiary work with Living Colour, has announced the release of his new solo album Hoodoo Telemetry, due October 3 via Artone / The Players Club Records. Ahead of the full release, Reid has unveiled the single Beautiful Bastard, a song he originally considered for his Yohimbe Brothers project but has now reclaimed for this collection.

On their most recent tour (and in Australia) Living Colour occasionally performed the Prince song made famous by Sinead O’Connor ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’. Living Colour and Sonic Universe singer Corey Glover says Living Colour have no plans to record the song.

Corey Glover of Living Colour has formed Sonic Universe, a new band featuring Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob), bassist Booker King and drummer Taykwuan Jackson.

Living Colour are back in Australia for the first time since 2018 and their song of choice to open the first show of the Australian tour was Led Zeppelin’s classic ‘Rock and Roll’.

Living Colour performed the Sinéad O’Connor Prince penned hit ‘Nothing Compares 2U’ at their concert in Pennsylvania this week.

Extreme have released another track from the upcoming ‘Six’ album ahead of the Australian tour with Living Colour.
