Rewind, the disaster festival of 2011 in Australia, is going ahead in Scotland with many of the acts who didn’t make the Aussie event.

For the second year in a row, Perth, Scotland will get to relive the 80’s with Rewind Scotland: The 80’s Festival. The three-day show is set for Friday, July 20 through Sunday, July 22 at Scone Palace, Perthshire, Scotland.

While, in a couple of cases, the promoters stretched the meaning of “80’s”, the majority of the acts saw their biggest success during that decade.

Here’s the quite amazing lineup for Saturday:
Average White Band
Ali Campbell’s UB40
Jimmy Sommerville (Bronski Beat)
5 Star
Chesney Hawkes
Go West
Right Said Fred
Midge Ure (Ultra Vox)
Limahl (Kajagoogoo)
Sinitta
Les McKeown’s Legendary Bay City Rollers
Katrina (formerly of Katrina and the Waves)

And for Sunday:
Squeeze
Holly Johnson (Frankie Goes to Hollywood)
Village People
Roland Gift (Fine Young Cannibals)
Lightning Seed
Marc Almond (Soft Cell)
The Straits
ABC
Wang Chung
Altered Images
Christians
John Parr

Tickets go on sale on Friday. A similar festival will be held August 17 to 19 at Henley-on-Themes, England.
