Sir Bob Geldof recently made a visit to Australia to announce the reformation of Boomtown Rats and announced the Aussie dates but Australian’s just didn’t care. The tour failed to sell and now Australian dates have been axed.

All Australian and New Zealand dates have now been removed from the Boomtown Rats official website. The next scheduled performance for Boomtown Rats is now June 16 at the Isle of Wight Festival, UK.

The reformed Boomtown Rats are Bob Geldof, Pete Briquette, Simon Crowe, Garry Roberts.
