Carlos Santana Reunites With Homeless Ex-Band Member

Carlos Santana reunited with Marcus Malone this week. Malone was in the Santana band in 1969 and lost touch with Carlos Santana after he spent three years in prison.

When a San Francisco television station interviewed a homeless man who said he was an original member of the band Santana, they had to check out the story.

It turns out that it was true. Marcus Malone played with the band as a percussionist until 1969 when he left due to personal problems. Malone ended up going to prison and was eventually lost in the system.

After seeing the original story, Carlos Santana started driving throughout the area looking for Malone and, after contacting the TV station, was reunited with him in a moment that was captured in the following story.
