Melbourne singer songwriter Chet Faker has performed his song ‘Gold’ for America via The Ellen Degeneres Show.

“I wanted to start the New Year off with one of my favourite new artists. He is an amazing singer songwriter from Australia. Here to perform ‘Gold’, please welcome Chet Faker,” Ellen said introducing Faker.

“I love it. Thankyou so much,” he proclaimed, hugging Chet at the end of the performance and then announcing she was giving everyone in the audience a copy of his ‘Built On Glass’ album.
