Sydney band Go Mason Go have won the first Red Bull Backyard Jam in Australia.

Go Mason Go are Jesse Taunton, Jordan Blencowe, Rohan Raman, Sidney Cremer and Maximillian Groblicki, five students from the Hurlstone Agriculture High School.

Go Mason Go entered the Red Bull Bedroom Jam in April and became the Week 4 buzz chart winners, earning them a spot on the Red Bull Backyard Jam.

Red Bull put on the Red Bull Backyard Jam yesterday (Saturday, July 7, 2012) in the Melbourne suburb of Melton with finalists Masketta Fall hosting the event in their drummer Rolph’s backyard. The event was hosted by Ella Hooper.

The playoffs features Go Mason Go and Masketta Fall as well as the other finalists Let’s Not Pretend, Break A Leg and Your Ticket Home, with a special guest performance from Australia’s hottest new rock band Stonefield.

Congratulations to Go Mason Go on winning the first series o the Red Bull Backyard Jam. Season 2 of the Red Blue Bedroom Jam will be announced at the end of this month.
