Gurrumul And Jessica Mauboy To Play For President Obama

Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu and Jessica Mauboy will perform for Barack Obama tomorrow when the US President flies into Darwin.

Gurrumul and Jessica were invited by The White House to play for the President.

President Obama is en-route to Australia as we write and will arrive in Canberra this afternoon. He will then head to Darwin tomorrow.

Mr Obama will head to Darwin tomorrow afternoon and watch the performance at the RAAF base then address the Australian Defence troops.

He is expected to be in Darwin for less than two hours. President Obama will then leave Australia and head to Bali late tomorrow afternoon. He will spend less than 24 hours in Australia.
