Mary J. Blige and De La Soul will perform at Soulfest 2015 in Sydney and Melbourne only. Brisbane was been removed from the schedule.

The event will feature 20 live acts and DJs performing across the 10 hour event.

Soulfest is billed ‘Australia’s first annual Neo-Soul, Jazz and Hip-Hop festival’. The first event in 2014 featured Common, Aloe Blacc, Mos Def, Anthony Hamilton, Angie Stone, Musiq Soulchild and Leela James as well as Ngaiire, Nathaniel, Ms Murphy, Miracle and DJ Trey.

For the first event in 2014, Soulfest was also held in Brisbane. The 2014 event was plagued with issues with the promoter axing the Australian acts for the Sunday event in Melbourne hours before showtime.
