The Angels’ Rick Brewster suffered every guitarist’s nightmare this week … amp death.

The Angels were about to perform their classic ‘Marseille’ at the Dee Why RSL in Sydney this week when Rick’s amp carked it rending his iconic guitar solo obsolete.

This meant that the usually immovable Mr Brewster had to move and salvage the gig for the fans.

The whole thing was captured on video and is now on YouTube.

Watch The Angels with Dave Gleeson resurrect the gig.
