ABC News presenter Virginia Trioli will doing something a lot less stressful than reporting on the Morrison and Dutton circus when she turns DJ for the Darebin Music Festival.

The Walkley Award winning journalist Virginia will hit the decks for #BangFam on October 21 during the Darebin Music Festival.

#BangFam is the weekly cultural podcast from Myf Warhurst and Zan Rowe. Virginia will be part of the bigger #BangFam event during the festival.

So what will she play? “Anything from Prince to Ruby Fields, DMAs, Faith No More and DZ Deathrays,” Virginia tells Noise11.com.

“It’s on a Sunday, so plenty of time to spend the day with us. We don’t want to spoil it, but let’s just say we have some very fun things planned. Besides sharing dinner mints and hanging out afterwards for some ‘Whaine Time’ that is,” Myf Warhurst said.

You can listen to the #BangFam podcasts here.
