Lanie Lane

by Andrew Tijs on October 18, 2011

JW Player goes here

Sydney rockabilly sensation Lanie Lane talks Jack White, singing as Kylie, her relationship with her guitars, and all-star guests.

Lanie Lane has been one of the most hyped artists of 2011, critics and fans buzzing about her authentic take on old-fashioned country, bluegrass and rockabilly. Not to mention her note-perfect outfits and image.

We chat to her about getting the call from Jack White to record at Third Man, singing as Kylie on ‘Where the Wild Roses Grow’ for a forthcoming Nick Cave tribute, her pet guitars, and ringing in some favours to create a band for her debut album To The Horses.

Also, check out Lanie playing three tracks in the Noise11 studios here.
