Canadian rock heavyweights Arkells have unveiled their new single Money, a collaboration with Portugal. The Man that sharpens the band's long running interest in social commentary while leaning into a bright, synth driven sound. The track arrives as the latest chapter in a productive period for the Hamilton outfit, who are already mapping out a major 2026 that includes a new album, international touring and a high profile hometown appearance at the JUNO Awards.

Seattle psych-surf outfit La Luz are doubling down on their busy 2025 with the announcement of a new limited-edition EP Extra! Extra!, arriving exclusively on vinyl through Sub Pop Records as part of this year's Record Store Day Black Friday (28 November 2025).

Portugal.The Man have confirmed the arrival of their next studio album Shish, due 7 November via their own KNIK imprint in partnership with Thirty Tigers. To coincide with the news, the band have dropped two new singles, the hypnotic “Tanana” and the propulsive “Mush.”

Alaskan-bred, Portland-based indie darlings Portugal. The Man are back, delivering their latest single, “Denali,” through Thirty Tigers. The track arrives hot on the heels of their surprise summer EP, uLu Selects Vol #2, and sees the band leaning into thick distorted synths, grunge-guitar grit, and frontman John Gourley’s slick vocals, calling back to the raw, adventurous sound that first put them on the map. Named after Alaska’s towering Denali Mountain, the song is both a nod to the band’s roots and a reminder of the soaring energy they bring to modern alternative music.

The Groovin’ The Moo line-up has been revealed with Grinspoon, Paul Kelly, Alex Lahey and The Amity Affliction from Australia paired with Royal Blood, Portugal The Man, Aminé and Duke Dumont from OS.
