Steven and Matt of accomplished alt-country newcomers The Hello Morning perform two graceful songs from their debut album.
The Hello Morning have spent years finely crafting their songs, building up to a sextet, then going “over the top” (as frontman Steven Clifford says) on their debut album. And it’s all worth it, creating an advanced collection of elegant folk, country, and roots.
Steven and Matt dropped in for a chat and to play a couple of the songs – ‘Stone Cold Lover’ and a gloriously languid version of Wilson Pickett’s ‘Don’t Let The Green Grass Fool You’.
