Alexisonfire returned from hibernation for a handful of dates in 2015 and will continue their activity with Australian shows for 2017.

Alexisonfire extinguished after Dallas Green announced his departure in 2010 to focus on City and Colour. Green and the band reformed for shows in 2012 because fans didn’t know their last show was their last show when they broke up. That tour, the Alexisonfire Farewell Tour came to Sydney and Melbourne in December 2012.

They then returned to their new bands, Green in City and Colour, Wade MacNeil in Black Lungs, George Pettit in Bergenfield Four and Jordan Hastings in the interesting named Cunter.

A national tour has been out together by Chugg Entertainment following the previous announcement with Alexisonfire headlining Unify 2017 in Gippsland in January.

The Dirty Nil are special guests for the tour. Tickets on sale 9am 15 August 2016.

Alexisonfire tour dates

January 11, Perth, HBF Stadium
January 13, Adelaide, Entertainment Centre
January 17, Melbourne, Festival Hall
January 19, Sydney, Hordern Pavilion
January 21, Brisbane, Riverstage
