Russell Morris ‘Van Dieman’s Land’, Chet Faker’s ‘1998’ and ‘Gold’ and AC/DC ‘Rock Or Bust’ and ‘Play Ball’ have made the shortlist for APRA Song of the Year.

Australian songwriters had a big year internationally with AC/DC, Sia, Chet Faker, The Veronicas, Angus and Julia Stone and Sia all making inroads on world charts in the past year and being recognized for their achievements with the APRA Awards in 2015.

Kasey Chambers, Mia Dyson and Augie March stand alongside newcomers King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Courtney Barnett and The Preatures for the APRA Awards of 2015.
