Billy Joel will return to his old high school Hicksville High for the 2017 graduation ceremony.
Joel graduated from the school on Long Island 50 years ago.
Billy was one English credit short when he finished school but returned to the school in 1992 to receive his diploma. He said at the time that he could now “pull himself out of this dead-end job”.
Billy Joel will be a speaker at this year’s graduation for the 416 grad students expected to attend this year’s ceremony.
Billy Joel will attend the graduation this Saturday 24 June at 10am.
