Billy Joel just keeps the tour buses rolling.

Billy Joel has announced his 56th monthly show at Madison Square Garden, a run that started in January 2014, for September 30th. Overall, its his 102nd performance at the venue, by far, the record for any artist.

Billy often brings guests up at his show:

He also has a number of stadium shows on his schedule including his fifth consecutive year at Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park.

Joel, 68, is a two-time new father and doesn’t tour for long periods anymore but, when he does perform, he makes it count. The MSG dates are within an hour of his Long Island home and, when he goes to other cities, it’s always a major event at a large venue.

Billy’s manager, Dennis Arfa, told Pollstar “It’s amazing to see Billy’s popularity soar to such amazing heights but my focus is always on what he can accomplish next.”

This year’s dates announced so far, including three in Europe:
