Blink-182 Confirmed For Soundwave 2013

by Andrew Tijs on August 3, 2012

in Live,News

Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah has tweeted that all three members of pop-punk heroes Blink-182 will be in Australia in 2013.

Overnight, the controversial promoter tweeted that he had confirmed “MARK + TOM + TRAVIS. Yes, TRAVIS. #SW13 #BLINK182”.

Following a horrific air crash in 2008, drummer Travis Barker has been reluctant to fly and has previous tweeted that Mark and Tom might visit Australia with a different drummer.

But, after “7 years of begging”, Maddah has all three of them for “all 5 Soundwaves” next year. He said there will “hopefully” be Sidewave shows for the band.

He also tweeted that he’s “seriously confident” that punk icons Rancid will be here for Soundwave 2014.

A full announcement happens next Wednesday.
