Bob Seger Has A New Album On The Way

Bob Seger had a special treat for hometown fans on Saturday night (September 9).

Seger played at the DTE Energy Music Theatre outside of Detroit as part of his Runaway Train tour and told the crowd that there will be a new album in November.

New Seger music had been rare over the last twenty-two years with only two albums, Face the Promise (2006) and Ride Out (2014). Overall, he’s released three sets as the Bob Seger System, seven as just Bob Seger and seven as Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band making the new set his 18th.

Bob also said a single was scheduled for this past Friday was delayed until later in the month.

Seger gave the crowd a 22 song show that was heavy on his many hits:
