Briggs new video ‘Life Is Incredible’ tells some ugly truths about Australia.

‘Life Is Incredible’ is set in an upper class retirement home were Briggs witnesses a series of untimely deaths. The video is a satirical statement on the life expectancy of Indigenous Australians.

“Indigenous life expectancy is a heavy and complicated issue, so I wanted to bring attention to it in a new, interesting way that is just 3mins. I’ve always been a fan of the horror genre and it lends perfectly for this,” Briggs said in a statement.

‘Life Is Incredible’ features Greg Holden who bounces between Briggs on lines like “Post Malone is incredible (Above ground pools) / Farmers markets are incredible (Whole Foods) / Eminem is incredible (Just lose yourself) / Macklemore is incredible (I guess) / Coachella’s incredible (Ha ha) / Craft beer is incredible (*Laughs*).

The video features appearances from Adam Goodes, Michael O’Loughlin and George Rose, prolific playwright Nakkiah Lui and actor Shari Sebbens (Sapphires). “The video’s message around Indigenous life expectancy really resonated with everyone I approached so they were on board no matter how I planned to kill them off,” Briggs said.
