Bruce Springsteen To Release 1980 Concert As Live Album

Bruce Springsteen continues his new Archive Series with one of his most famous early shows from December 31, 1980 at the Nassau Coliseum.

From his tour to support The River, Springsteen played for three hours and forty-five minutes, his longest show until the record was broken 32 years later. The 38-song concert included many of the songs from the River album plus gems from his earlier sets and a number of covers including Who’ll Stop the Rain, the Detroit Medley, Auld Lang Syne and the holiday classics Merry Christmas, Baby and Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

The album will be available on CD along with a variety of download formats including MP3, FLAC and HD-Audio.

All Archive Series releases are only available through live.brucespringsteen.net/.
