The Clash will have a radio show in the UK this Boxing Day afternoon.

This Boxing Day, BBC Radio 6 Music invites listeners to settle down with some left-overs and tune in to This is Radio Clash, a two-hour special presented by Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon of The Clash from 1-3pm.

The Clash were unflinching musical pioneers, integrating first militant reggae, then dub, funk, jazz and hip-hop into their sound, leaving behind an extraordinary recorded legacy.

Jones, Simonon and Header will be sharing their experiences of that time, lifting the lid on the stories behind the tracks they have selected and will even keep things seasonal as they discuss the origins of Boxing Day. Expect tracks from Shuggy Otis, Curtis Mayfield, Bowie, Desmond Dekker, the Kinks and so many more in this exclusive broadcast.

Boxing Day, 1-3pm on BBC 6
