Cold Chisel To Release New Album Blood Moon

by Paul Cashmere on October 21, 2019

in News

Cold Chisel will release their ninth studio album ‘Blood Moon’ ahead of their Blood Moon Tour 2020 and a new song next week called ‘Getting The band Back Together’.

‘Getting The band Back Together’ was recorded in Sydney in August and September with Kevin Shirley, who also recorded the last two albums ‘No Plans’ (2012) and ‘The Perfect Crime (2015).

“The album covers a lot of ground lyrically and musically,” reveals Don Walker. “Getting The Band Back Together seemed like the right sentiment to accompany the tour, but the album itself has a lot of songs that are darker than that, and a few quieter ones too. It’s great to still be making new music and finding new ways to do it after all these years.”

The first we’ll hear of the new songs is the title track on 31 October.

Cold Chisel’s Blood Moon tour tickets are now on sale.
