The 65-year-old singer, real name Marvin Aday, was scheduled to play in Nottingham this weekend as part of his Last At Bat farewell tour.

The Capital FM Arena cited health concerns, BBC reports.

‘[The show has been cancelled] due to medical reasons affecting several members of the band,’ a statement on the venue’s website read.

It was unclear at press time if Meat Loaf was ill.

A spokesperson for the Capital FM Arena told BBC ticket holders were made aware of the issue just a half an hour before the doors were due to open at 7:00pm.

She did not elaborate on the medical condition of Meat Loaf or his band members.

The show has been rescheduled at the venue for May 20 marking the final date of the tour. Tickets to Sunday’s concert will remain valid for the show.

The band won’t have much of a break before their next concert in Manchester on April 17.

Meat Loaf is then scheduled to hit Sheffield and Cardiff before trekking to Wales, Germany, the Netherlands and Ireland before circling back to England for the Nottingham show.

The singer had not yet issued a statement in regards to the state of his health at press time.
