Dan Sultan recreates his best known tracks for ‘Aviary Takes’

Dan Sultan’s fourth album ‘Aviary Takes’ will feature reworking of his earlier songs.

Dan says, “Aviary Takes has been a very rewarding and fulfilling experience. I’ve been able to go over songs from my past catalogue and also record a few tunes from some of my favourite artists. It’s very stripped back and it’s the first time I’ve worked with the great and very talented Matt Redlich who produced the sessions. We had a great time making the album in the heart of Melbourne, at his Aviary Studios.”

The new covers for this album are Michael Kiwanuka’s ‘Love & Hate’, Florence + The Machine’s ‘Dog Days Are Over’ and Gillian Welch’s ‘Look At Miss Ohio’.

‘Aviary Takes’ will be released on 15 March 2019.
