At the official Bowie Facebook page an image of a Bowie-like mask with the words “The Stars (Are Out Tonight) David Bowie’ was uploaded at midnight last night and the date ’02:26:13’ posted above it.

‘The Stars (Are Out Tonight’ will be track three on Bowie’s upcoming album ‘The Next Day’, due in March.

On January 8, 2013 Bowie surprised fans when he suddenly released the song ‘Where Are They Now’. There was no forewarning of any new Bowie material. The recording sessions (produced by Tony Visconti) were kept under complete secrecy. Bowie chose his birthday to release his first new music in over a decade.

‘The Next Day’ will be released in Australia on March 8, the USA on March 12 and the rest of the world on March 11.
