Diesel will be visiting the Melbourne Guitar Show this weekend, meeting fans and signing vinyl copies of his new E.P. ‘Sunset Suburbia’.

You can meet Diesel at the Melbourne Guitar Show at 11:45am on Sunday 4 August.

Diesel is releasing his next album as four x four track E.Ps. “For me records have always been a little overwhelming,” Diesel tells Noise11.com. “When I think back I’ve had panic attacks. When you are taking on something so big and then get through it, ironically when I get through it, I feel bummed when it comes to an end. Like, can’t we just make it go a bit longer? The E.P. thing elongates the process and suits my lifestyle a bit more. It suits me creatively a lot more too”.

E.P. one is out now and he is signed copies at the guitar show. “The other two EPS, two is done, three I’m finishing the last bit now and E.P. four is the four last tracks to make up the album,” Diesel says. “It won’t be released as an E.P., it will just be on the album. I’d like to find a little family of four songs each time. Sometimes they are more related than others. It’s like a mini-series. Every E.P. is like a mini album with a relativity between the songs. I do like to mix it up a bit with different styles. The next one is a lot different. It’s not as Americana as the first one. It has an English feel”.

The first single is ‘By The Scars’. “’By The Scars’ is about a loss of innocence and coming of age within one year. It is about when you finally realise the world can be a dangerous place and things you thought we monumental didn’t quite turn out that way. It is coming to terms with the world as a young adult”.

The album is due early 2020. “I believe early next year. I am still trying my head around how it is rolling out,” Diesel says. “The title track is on E.P. three. It was the only thing that was planned. It fell out and I thought, there’s my title. It is a bit of a scrapbook of my growing up and coming of age. Its like a little to my brother in those years when we were drifting. It’s a song about having kids. We were really close. We did a lot of things together”.

Why Queen’s Quietest Member John Deacon Chose to Become a Recluse Until This Rare Return

For fans of Queen, John Deacon has long been the enigma of the band, a brilliant musician, masterful songwriter, and humble presence behind the scenes. Since the early 1990s, Deacon has shunned the spotlight, retiring quietly after Freddie Mercury’s death in 1991. But now, years later, he has quietly resurfaced, lending his signature alongside bandmates Roger Taylor and Brian May on a charity auction item, signalling, perhaps, that even the most private of souls can still make their mark in unexpected ways.
