In a statement after winning, DJ Minx said, “I’m absolutely lost for words, this whole experience has been incredible. Being put alongside the most talented DJs from Australia and New Zealand and having the chance to network with them has been such an amazing journey.  After tonight, I’m so excited for the future and this once in a lifetime opportunity that I am grabbing with both hands.  I can’t wait to work my ass off and make everyone involved and those who have already supported me, proud.”

EMI Australasia Chairman Mark Poston commented, “The quality of the talent we have seen as a result of She Can DJ is absolutely on par with the talent we are experiencing right now around the globe – these girls are world class & have truly blown us all away! Having just spent the night watching Swedish House Mafia blow up the house at Pacha, I am confident that Minx will be able to hold her own on any of the international stages that include Ibiza, Miami & London as well as continue to smash it up on home ground in Australia.”

DJ Minx will now head to London and Ibiza to join David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia at the closing Ibiza parties.

Her own album will be released by EMI in 2012.
