A man disguised as a construction worker has destroyed Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The vandalism occurred at 5:45am on Hollywood Blvd outside the Dolby Theatre. Trump received the star in 2007 for his work on Celebrity Apprentice.

Hollywood Deadline has named the vandal as Jamie Otis. On camera, Otis is heard saying that he intended to remove the Trump star to auction for the victims of Trump’s alleged sexual assault who have come forward in recent months and whom Trump says he intends to sue after the election.

However, Otis did not get a clean break with the star, instead destroying it by smashing it to pieces.

Incidentally, the Walk of Fame these days is as fake as a Trump reality show. The stars are now awarded on a ‘pay for play’ basis. The honoree must apply for the “honor”, pay a fee and pay for the star.
