Eric Clapton to Release Christmas Album ‘Happy Xmas’

The Beatles may have broken up more than half a century ago, but the mythology surrounding them shows no sign of slowing down. At this year’s Melbourne International Film Festival, one of the most talked-about titles was TWST: Things We Said Today, a new documentary from Romanian filmmaker Andrei Ujică.

Released on August 15, 1995, I Just Wasn’t Made for These Times stands as Brian Wilson’s second solo album and functions as the soundtrack to Don Was’ documentary on Wilson’s life and artistry. It is comprised almost entirely of re-recordings of Wilson’s earlier compositions, a thoughtful revisitation of his monumental catalogue.

The Beatles ‘Help!’ album is 60 years old. ‘Help!’, the UK edition also released in Australia, came out on 6 August 1965.
