Fifa Riccobono To Receive Ted Albert Award

Fifa Riccobono has been named as the 2015 recipient of Australia’s most prestigious industry honour, the Ted Albert Award.

The Ted Albert Award is given at the annual APRA Awards for outstanding service to Australian music.

Fifa was the first female CEO in the Australian music industry as head of Albert Music where she championed the career of AC/DC, The Angels, Rose Tattoo and John Paul Young.

Fifa Riccobono has been a director on the boards of APRA, AMCOS and AMPAL as well as director for music charity Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy.

“I am honoured to be the recipient of the Ted Albert Award. I worked with Ted for 20 years and admired him greatly for his sense of fairness and his absolute passion for Australian music. He gave me my start in the industry and encouraged me through every aspect of my career. After his passing I was asked back to Alberts and honoured to be able to continue my dream career with the company for a further 20+ years,” Fifa said in a statement.
