Foo Fighters Perform Something From Nothing For Letterman

Foo Fighters completed their week long residency on The Late Show With David Letterman performing their new song ‘Something From Nothing’.

‘Something From Nothing’ is the first single from the new album ‘Sonic Highways’.

‘Sonic Highways’ features eight songs recorded in eight studios all over America with a special guest from each city helping out with the creation of the song.

‘Something From Nothing’ was created with Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen, who also performed the song with Foo Fighters on the Letterman show.

Nielsen also performed Cheap Trick’s ‘Stiff Competition’ on the previous night’s show with Foo Fighters.

Foo Fighters week long residency for Letterman also included appearances with Zac Brown, Heart and Tony Joe White.

The making of Sonic Highways is an eight part TV series screening Saturdays at 4:40pm on Australia’s Go channel.
